Roles

Najat Abushufa is one of the staff members at the department of pediatric dentistry .

I have extensive experience in teaching and academic work at the College of Dentistry. I started as a teaching assistant in 2007, and after obtaining my Master's degree in 2012, I  were promoted to a faculty member. In 2013, I  became an Assistant Lecturer, and in 2023, i received a scientific promotion to the rank of Lecturer.In my role, I  teach Pediatric Dentistry, prepare lectures, set mid-term and final exams, grade exam papers, and record the grades. I also participate in invigilating exams during the examination periods at the college.

Research Interests

I have paid attention about research of how to protect children teeth from trauma and how to manage trauma like avulsion or fractures at home or school by parents or primary school teachers . I am thinking also about research about dental deformities like molar incisor hypomineralization 

External Activities

I have given promotional lectures about how to save primary teeth from trauma and how to keep oral health in children.
