Lecturer in the Department of Periodontal Therapy and Surgery Omaima Hassan Muhammad Al-Haddad is a faculty member in the Department of Periodontal Therapy and Surgery at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery. Ms. Omaima Hassan Al-Haddad has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 2015-04-12, where she was promoted from assistant lecturer to lecturer since 10-11-2021. She has many scientific publications in her field of specialization (microbiology and immunology). Her research has been published in international scientific journals such as the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and the African Journal of Microbiology Research, in addition to a research paper on the prevalence of antibiotic resistance in bacteria isolated from patients with urinary tract infections, which was published in a university journal.
Careers
Before joining the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Tripoli, Ms. Omaima Al-Haddad worked as a community pharmacist in one of the major pharmacies in Tripoli. She also worked briefly as a pharmacist in drug stores before moving to the University of Tripoli in 2015, where she now works as a lecturer and participates in giving theoretical and practical lectures.
Research Interests
Ms. Omaima Hassan Al-Haddad is interested in research in the field of microbiology and immunology, and her interest focuses on bacteria, their resistance to antibiotics, and the community’s awareness of the use of antibiotics.
External Activities
Mrs. Omaima Hassan Al-Haddad has no activities outside the college and is completely dedicated to giving theoretical and practical lectures
