Nadia Abdullah Muhammad Salem Rahouma is one of the faculty members in the Department of Periodontology and Surgery at the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery. Mrs. Nadia Abdullah works at the University of Tripoli as an assistant professor. I was appointed as an assistant lecturer since January 29, 2013, and I was promoted to lecturer since November 19, 2017. I was also promoted to assistant professor since 2023. I was assigned tasks as a representative in the study and examinations department at the college. I have many scientific publications in my field of specialization, and my research has been published. In scientific journals with an Arab influence factor, such as Al-Khaleej Magazine and Al-Qalam Magazine. Titles of the research I published: The effect of knowledge and attitudes related to oral health on the health condition of the mouth, and another study entitled Evaluating the extent of dental students’ awareness of bleeding gums

Careers

Faculty member in the Department of Periodontal Treatment and Surgery... I participate in giving theoretical lectures on periodontal surgery and treatment for third-year students, as well as theoretical lectures for fourth-year students, as well as clinical explanations for students in the college clinic

Research Interests

In the field of gum treatment and surgery: I am interested in studying the extent of dental college students’ awareness of the causes of gingivitis. He was also interested in studying the extent to which their health awareness and knowledge affected their gum health. It also studied the prevalence of gingivitis in adults in Libya.  As well as with regard to medical microbiology and immunology, I studied the effect of different toothpastes available in the market on the mouth in comparison to miswak paste
