Professor Dr. Mansour has many research interests in various fields and specializations of dentistry, such as periodontal treatment and dental implants, as the subject of his doctoral thesis was dental implants. 

Professor Dr. Mansour has supervised and continues to supervise many master’s theses in the specialty of dentistry and implantology for postgraduate students in various universities within the Libyan state. Many scientific papers and research have been published in various fields in the specialty of dentistry and implantology in many local as well as international scientific journals.

Careers

12/31/1999 Professor Dr. Mansour Al-Muntaser was appointed to the position of lecturer by decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Tripoli. 

1/1/2004 Professor Dr. Mansour was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor 

1/1/2008 Professor Dr. Mansour was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor 

1/1/2012 Professor Dr. Mansour was promoted to the rank of professor

2012 - 2016 During this period, Professor Dr. Mansour assumed the presidency of the Department of Periodontal Treatment and Surgery and Dental Implantology.

During which Professor Dr. Mansour held several positions, including chairing the equivalency committee for student degrees at the college level, as well as membership in the college’s Scientific Advisory Committee and graduate studies representative at the college.

Research Interests

Professor Dr. Mansour has a major role in research and scientific fields and interests and has many research papers published in various specialties of dentistry and implant dentistry in local and international scientific journals.

Professor Dr. Mansour has supervised and continues to supervise the master’s theses of many postgraduate students in various dental specialties at various universities inside and outside the country.

External Activities

Regarding external activities, Professor Dr. Mansour is considered a member of the advisory committee of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which has many interests, such as expressing opinion and advice to the Minister of Higher Education on scientific matters related to studies in various colleges.

Professor Dr. Mansour is also considered one of the founders of the Department of Medical Engineering at the University of Tripoli 

Professor Dr. Mansour is also considered one of the resident faculty members for many practical papers related to the promotion of faculty members in various universities.
