Abdullatef Nureddin is one of the staff members at the department of oral pathology, oral medicine and oral surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry-Tripoli University.
Teaching the third year student oral patholoy which consists many chapters such as dental caries, disroders of dental pulp, periapical periodontitis, disorders of development of teeth and oro-facial structures, disease of the periodontium, cysts of the jaws and oral soft tissue, tumours of epithelial tissue, tumours of connective tissue, white patches, oral ulceration, infections of oral mucosa, disorders of bone and tempromandibular joints and diseases of salivary glands.
As well as teaching students how to interpret the sides in oral pathology departemnet
Careers
I started my work as a dentist at Ganzour poly clinic the in 1987 then I joined Faculty of dentistry in 1997 as an assistant lecturer then promoted to be a lecturer and head of department of oral and general pathology the promoted to be assistant prof. in oral pathology then associated prof. in oral pathology.
My BDS was obtained from All Arab medical university and my MDSc was obtained from university of Dundee, also I have awarded p postgraduate certificate in community dentistry from Leeds university then my DDSc was obtained from Ain Shames university.
Research Interests
1.Teaching oral pathology subject for third year dental student
(the reference or recommended book (Oral pathology J.V. Soames and J.C. Southam ), Oxford University Press, British society for oral &maxillofacial pathology.
2. Adding to teaching as a Lecturer. Laboratory sessions, slide seminars, tutorials and clinical examination of patients and supervising fourth year dental students in oral medicine clinic.
3. Gross evaluation and cutting of biopsies received from various departments of oral surgery and oral surgery clinics with microscopical examination and histopathological reporting.
4. Histopathological examination and reporting by frozen section
5. Cytological examination of smear biopsies
6. Teaching general pathology
7. Clinical general practice in general dentistry
8. Researcher, writing and review of articles in the field of dentistry
