Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia is a faculty member in the Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery \ University of Tripoli.  Mrs. Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia has worked at the University of Tripoli since 2013 as an assistant lecturer for the oral pathology course and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization and obtained a scientific degree as a lecturer in 2021. Mrs. Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia obtained a Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, University of Tripoli, Tripoli-Libya 2004.  She joined the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery as a Demonstrator in in 2007.Mrs.  Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia obtained a Master's degree in Dentistry \ Oral Pathology, from Alexanderia University\ Egypt in 2012 AD. She worked as a faculty member in the Oral Pathology Unit \ Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery \ University of Tripoli with a scientific degree of assistant lecturer in 2013.  She obtained the degree as a lecturer in 2021.Mrs. Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia was assigned as a member of several scientific, administrative, and committees in the faculty, including a membership of objective review committees, and the Supreme Committee for the conduct of examinations at the faculty.

Mrs. Dr. Dunya I Ben sofia is interested in research areas related to her specialization in oral and dental medicine and surgery in general and oral pathology in particular, and she has many scientific publications in her field of specialization and articles in progress.

Participate in many scientific forums in her field of specialization and attend frequent workshops related to scientific research.
