ِAyiad Alkhalifi is one of the staff members at the department of 2 faculty of 9. He is working as a since 2010-07-22. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest.

2003 -2006: At the Medical service company has two semiprivate small hospitals one of them was Sukkra clinic located in Tripoli, it has 80 beds including medical and surgical units and a dental clinic, I worked at that hospital as a director and dentist and maxillofacial surgeon for complete 3 years.

The main job since 1996 is a teaching staff member at the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery dental faculty Tripoli university until now. From which I worked as a chairmen of the student examination affairs for 2 years from 2001 to 2003,

2007 – 2011: I was pointed to be the dean of the dental faculty of Tripoli university, it’s the largest dental faculty in Libya well equipped and organized faculty.

Careers

1982 – 2022: 40 years of experience as a clinical dentist and 28 years of them as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and teaching experience in different colleges and hospitals.

1982 – 1986: Started my career as a dentist at the policlinic no 5 in Tripoli as a general dentist PR actioner dealt with most dental problems such as acute cases, simple extractions, filings minor dent alveolar cases.

1996 – 1998: part time job at Agilat general hospital as a maxillofacial surgeon. Agilat hospital located about 80 km west of Tripoli. it’s a 140 bed hospital it has a unit of oral and maxillofacial surgery with 10 beds, my work was one-day outpatient clinic and one-day operating theatre per week and the third day for follow up.

1998 – 2003: a part time job at the National institute of oncology at Sabrata, Sabrata is a city located about 60 km at the west of Tripoli where the national institute of oncology established. it’s a referral center for which all the oncology cases are transferred including oral and maxillofacial cases.

 TOOK PART AND SHARING IN AL ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AT THE DENTAL FACULTY INCLUDING LECTURES FOR 3RD AND 4TH YEAR STUDENTS AND TITORIALS, SEMINARS, CLINICAL SESIONS FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENT, SUPERVESION OF INTERNSHIP STUDENTS, MIDTERM AND FINAL EXAMS. 

Took par in many international congresses related to oral and maxillofacial surgery

1991 – 1994: Started my post-graduate study for M.Sc. degree in maxillofacial surgery, the thesis was: “A retrospective study of malignant skin tumors of the face, head and neck, surgical management of 491 cases treated at the clinic of maxillofacial surgery dental faculty of Belgrade university, at the same time, I continue my work as a specialist in maxillofacial surgery at the clinic of maxillofacial surgery with total of full 8 years clinical training in Maxillofacial surgery.
