Roles

Dr. Sarah Salem Shanab performs a number of tasks within the college, including supervising clinical training within oral medicine clinics for fourth-year students and helping them complete all reports and cases required of them. It examines patients arriving at the Oral Medicine Unit and provides knowledgeable supervision and follow-up on their treatment. She was also assigned to supervise theoretical and practical exams within the college and assist in organizing the workflow.

Careers

Mrs. Dr. Sarah Salem Shanab obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery in 2009. She held a teaching position within the Department of Oral Medicine in Canada from 2012 to 2024. She obtained an Irish fellowship in oral medicine in 2022. She was appointed to the position of Assistant Lecturer within the Department of Oral Medicine in 2024

Research Interests

Mrs. D. Sarah Salem Shanab is very interested in scientific research, especially in what is related to oral and dental medicine, and she has published scientific research in several specialized journals for that purpose.

External Activities

Mrs. Dr. Sarah Salem Shanab conducted a set of experiments in several laboratories within the s country of Egypt in order to write scientific articles.

She also participated in several medical conferences inside and outside Libya
