Nasser Milad Amhamed Al-Maarafi is one of the faculty members at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Department of Economics, with the rank of Professor, charged with teaching many of the department’s courses and also academically supervising students in the department. She also supervised many graduation projects.

Research Interests

Classified as A. Dr.. Nasser Milad Ahmed Al-Maarafi is an active researcher and has published in a number of local and international peer-reviewed scientific journals. His research interests are broad but mainly focused on economics. He also studies the following subjects at the university level: economic theory (micro-macro) - economic policies - mathematical economics - economics Econometrics - labor economics - tourism economics - international economics - economic feasibility studies. He also studies the following subjects at the master’s level: macroeconomics - econometrics - tourism economics - money and banking - economic policies - international trade - national accounts - economic statistics, as well as supervising master’s theses. As a main supervisor in the Department of Economics, Finance, Banking and Financial Planning at the University of Tripoli, the Department of Economics and the Department of Economic Relations at the Postgraduate Academies.

External Activities

A. rose. Dr.. Nasser Milad Amhamed Al-Maarafi is involved in many works outside the university, such as cooperating with some universities, giving a training course on research methods to some of those interested, and evaluating master’s theses as an external examiner at the University of Benghazi and Al-Marqab, as well as supervising doctoral theses at the Academy of Graduate Studies as a main supervisor in the Department of International Economic Relations and contributing to training programs. At the National Institute of Administration for the economic feasibility study and project evaluation program, participating in some preparatory committees for some seminars and workshops, and collaborating at the National Institute of Administration during the years (2008 - 2009), teaching the following subjects at the university level: economic theory (micro - macro) - economic policies. - Mathematical economics - econometrics - labor economics - tourism economics - international economics - economic feasibility studies
