Dr. Ali Khalifa Astila is a faculty member in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli - with the rank of lecturer. He taught many courses, including: Principles of Finance, Principles of Investment, Islamic Banking, Financial Management, Banking Operations and Policies, Financial Markets, Financial Institutions, Bank management, investment portfolios. He also supervised many graduation projects.

1- Member of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Care of Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons 2014-2018. 2- Lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting, Al-Rajban, University of the Western Mountain - Gharyan 2004-2018, 3- Director of the Investment Office of the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons, 2015- 2016, Ph. 4- Lecturer at the College of Applied Administrative and Financial Sciences - Tourism (cooperator) 2016-2017. 5- Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics - Al-Ajailat (collaborator) 2014. 6- Professor Lecturer at the Higher Institute of Comprehensive Professions - Al-Haraba 2004-2007. 7- Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics - Al-Haraba 2004-2007. 8- Former Director of the Education Affairs Office in Nalut District - 1999-2001.

Research Interests

 Writing research and follow up on economic and financial reports related to the exchange rate

Following up on developments in Islamic banking, as well as reports on exchange rates through economic and financial bulletins.
