Description

The Master's Program in Financial Planning is a high-level educational program that offers a set of advanced study subjects and advanced skills that keep pace with modern technology and that help students learn about financial planning, financial management, investments, advanced financial services, strategic planning, investment planning, quantitative planning, and indicators. Development, operational planning, human resources planning, small and medium enterprise planning, and agricultural and industrial project planning. The program also includes benefiting from existing experiences and continuing development of technical financial skills.

This program is based on the academic standards approved in the corresponding specializations and the official regulations issued in this regard:

1. Higher Diploma (Master’s) Program in Economics at the Libyan Academy, Janzour, Libya.

2. Higher Degree Program (Master’s) in Planning from the Planning Institute / Tripoli

Objectives

1. . Developing the scientific and research skills and capabilities of students in the fields of financial planning.

2. Focus on providing academic and practical cases that help students realize the reality in the fields of specialization.

3. Graduating specialized competencies in the fields of financial planning, economic planning, and various planning fields.

4. Organizing seminars, scientific conferences and discussion panels in the areas of planning.

5. Participate in preparing studies, research and development, and providing consultations to institutions working in the fields of financial and economic planning.

6. Contributing in the fields of authorship and translation in planning specializations to fill the shortage of references and specialized periodicals.

7. Building bridges of cooperation and exchanging scientific and practical experiences with various scientific bodies specialized in fields related to planning.

Entry Reuirements

The general regulations regulating postgraduate studies in Libya are applied, as well as the internal regulations regulating postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science approved by the University Council.

Study Plan

The Master in Financial Planing prepares students to qualify for Master in Financial Planing . The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.

It comprises 4 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 39 units, which include 4 units of general subjects, and 24 major units, 8 of elective units. In addition to a final project in the student's major.
