Abdel Raouf Zarti is a faculty member in the Financial Planning Department at the Faculty of Economics, Tripoli. Mr. Abdel-Raouf Zarti has been working as an associate professor at the University of Tripoli since 2023. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization and has taught many courses at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.

Careers

Abdul Raouf Zarti currently works as a professor of economics in the Department of Financial Planning at the University of Tripoli, where he has been teaching students at the bachelor’s level of study since 04/26/2004.  The tasks he performs as a faculty member with the rank of associate professor include teaching since 10/17/2023 and directing students in their research, as well as academic supervision of projects. Over the years, he has taught university courses that included: Principles of Economics I and II, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics, Mathematical Economics, Development Planning, Public Finance Planning, etc. He also held the position of Head of the Financial Planning Department and then Director of the Graduate Studies Office at the college until now.

Research Interests

Abdul Raouf visited me with research in the field of international economics, especially foreign direct investment and research related to economic policy and economic growth.

External Activities

Mr. Abdul Raouf Zarti was assigned to some practical committees and to discuss master’s theses, and a member of a committee at the Diplomatic Institute.
