Roles

Dr. Muammar worked as an associate professor at the college from 2009-2010, then became a permanent faculty member in the Department of Statistics and Econometrics from 2011 to the present day. He was assigned by the department to serve as the coordinator of scientific affairs in the department from the fall of 2023 until now and as the coordinator of the scientific review section in the department from the spring of 2022 to the present. He was also assigned by the college administration to undertake the tasks of statistical analysis of data related to quality and institutional control.

Careers

Dr. Muammar began his scientific career as a secondary school teacher from 1999-2009, then as a collaborating lecturer in Libyan universities, then as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli from 2011 until now.

Research Interests

Dr. Muammar is interested in scientific research related to queuing theory. He has published seven research papers in this field. He is also interested in research in quality control and has published three research papers in this field. He is also interested in the field of statistical analysis of data using SPSS, PLS, Matcad, and Eviews programs. He has analyzed the practical part of many research papers, master’s theses, and doctoral theses in each of Libyan universities and Tunisia, Egypt, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Serbia, and Britain.

External Activities

Dr. Muammar participated in giving courses related to statistical analysis using Eviews at Asmaria University. He also participated in giving courses in the field of data analysis and statistical applications at the university’s research center. Courses for graduate students and faculty members at the Research Center in Zliten under the supervision of the Chamber of Commerce. He also participated in the International Conference on Mathematical Sciences at Tanta University in the Arab Republic of Egypt in its 2017 and 2019 sessions.
