Roles

Ms. Nahla worked as a collaborating professor to teach biostatistics at the Faculty of Medical Technology at the University of Tripoli from 2010 to 2012. Then she joined the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at the University of Tripoli to work as a collaborating professor in the Department of Statistics and Econometrics from the academic year 2012 to the academic year 2020, and she taught many statistics and mathematics courses. Since 2021, Ms. Nahla has become an academic staff member at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science as a lecturer. She has been assigned as Quality Coordinator within the Department of Statistics and Econometrics. In 2022, she was appointed to the position of Head of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Tripoli. Ms. Nahla, has experience in the field of media, so she was entrusted with the task of supervising the website of the journal of faculty to reactivate it under the supervision of a team composed of experienced and competent faculty members.

Careers

She started her professional career in the field of education as a secondary school teacher from 1997 until 2016 in both general education and private education, then she joined the inspection and educational guidance staff in Tripoli after successfully passing the inspection competition. She worked hard until she was assigned the position of a statistics subject expert in the interest, and she was chosen as head of the secondary education department in the branch. She participated in distance education for students during the Corona pandemic, in cooperation with the Training and Development Center, where she recorded statistics lessons for secondary education, in order to broadcast them on the TV channel and media.

Research Interests

Ms. Nahla was interested in scientific research related to statistics and worked by participating in the analysis of many research papers and master's theses. She is also interested in self-development in the field of using various statistical programs such as the statistical package SPSS and the R statistical software.

External Activities

Among her external activities is interested in media activity by working as a broadcaster for sports and cultural programs on the group radio (Radio Al-Shorouk - Radio Ly).

She participated in both the First and Second Sports Conferences, "which were held in the city of Tripoli and Al-Khums" with research papers entitled: Sports is Economics, Money and Sports.
