Dr. Sumaya Saleh El-Jabri is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the College of Education, Qasr Bin Gashir. After the graduation of Mrs. Sumaya Al-Jabri and obtaining the first rank at the Faculty of Science, in the year 1999/2000, she began her work at the University of Tripoli as a tutor from 2001 to 2005 in the Faculty of Science, Department of Statistics, and then as an assistant lecturer in the same department from 2005-2008, after obtaining a master's degree, and after obtaining a doctorate from the University of Manchester, Britain, she moved to the Faculty of Education, Qasr Bin Gashir, starting in 2014 as a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics until now.

During her work at the university, she taught many theoretical and practical courses in her field of specialization, in addition to publishing a set of researches in international scientific journals in her field of specialization.

Dr. El-Jabri is currently seeking to spread the culture of statistical analysis in the educational fields through the courses held at the college. Most of the statistical courses taught within the college have been developed to serve the educational process and keep pace with the needs of the labor market.

Research Interests

Since the move of Mrs. Sumaya El-Jabri from the College of Science to the College of Education, most of her interests have become focused on the educational field and seek to add educational skills and modern strategies in education in the field of secondary and university education together, and she is currently working on analyzing secondary curricula in the field of statistics and the extent to which they keep pace with developments in the educational process.
