Profile

Salha Bahour is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education – Qasr Bin Ghashir, University of Tripoli, and currently holds the academic rank of Lecturer. She has a number of scientific publications in her field of specialization and has taught a variety of specialized courses in the department, including General Mathematics I, General Mathematics II, General Mathematics III, Statics, Plane Analytic Geometry, Solid Analytic Geometry, Dynamics, Real Analysis, Functional Analysis, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.

She has also participated in supervising a number of graduation projects and Practical Education, in addition to serving as the Study and Examinations Coordinator in the department and contributing to various academic and departmental duties.

Careers

Appointed as an Assistant Lecturer on February 29, 2016, and promoted to the rank of Lecturer on November 23, 2022.

Research Interests

Scientific Participation and Publications

Participated in the Second Scientific Conference on the Requirements for Educational Transformation in Colleges of Education in Light of the Challenges of Knowledge Technology, held on August 26, 2021, by presenting a research paper entitled:

“The Reality of Using the Internet as a Tool for Data Collection for Scientific Research Purposes and the Obstacles to Its Use among Faculty Members in the Mathematics Departments of Colleges of Education.”

Furthermore, published a research paper in the Journal of Science and Education, a peer-reviewed scientific journal, entitled:

“Secondary School Teachers’ Attitudes toward the Use of Modern Teaching Strategies in the Calculus Course for the Secondary School Certificate.”

The research paper was published on October 3, 2024.
