RoleFathia Mousa Hussein Altalhi is a member of the Department of Chemistry at Faculty of Education Janzour, University of Tripoli specializing in Organic Chemistry. She joined the department on (24-02-2009). She is currently works as an Assistant Professor since (3-10-2018) and has many scientific publications in her field of specialization. She supervised many graduation projects that were practically conducted outside the college, as well as supervising some students academically. Professor Fathia is in the process of completing a series of textbooks in Organic Chemistry for the Colleges of Education in cooperation with some colleagues in the department. She was the head of the department in the period (2009-2012) and also (2015-2014) and as a coordinator of studies and exams in the department (2013-2012) and also held the chair of the committee for exams in the college 2010 and was assigned to evaluate the scientific production of a faculty member in the department regarding promotion 2020. AchievementsThe most important achievements: During the period of chairing the department 2009-2012, she was assigned to supervise the preparation of the chemistry laboratories in the college, and she also prepared a guide for the 2010 chemistry department.

Professor Fathia Mousa Hussein Altalhi joined the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Education, Janzour, Department of Chemistry, on 24-2-2009. Before joining the university, she was working as a teacher at Al-Jalaa Secondary School for Girls in Al-Bayda City on 1995-1996, then she worked as a lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the College of Science at Omar Al-Mukhtar University in Al-Bayda from 1996-2001, then she worked as an assistant lecturer in the Chemistry Department, College of Science, Omar Al-Mukhtar University on 2006-2009, she contributed In updating Organic Chemistry curricula with a group of colleagues in the same specialty, and supervised a group of graduation projects for students.

Professor Fathia Mousa Hussein Altalhi did a number of scientific researches in her specialty, which were published in a number of international scientific journals. Her scientific interest was in the field of natural products because of their importance for medical use.
