Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman, BSc and MSc degrees in inorganic chemistry from Carl Schorlemmer University -Germany, and a PhD from the University of Sheffield -United Kingdom. Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman joined at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Education, Janzour, in mid-2013 as a collaborator, and has been working since February 2016 until now as a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Education, Janzour, University of Tripoli.

He has published several research papers in cooperation with some colleagues in various local journals. He also supervises several students academically. Currently, Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman, in cooperation with colleagues, is completing some various research projects, that will be published soon. Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman is now contributing in developing the curriculum by writing a methodological book in the field of specialization that ensure of high-quality content that can be used in colleges of education in the future.

He has been a member of the department’s Scientific Committee since 2022. Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman participated in many of the department’s activities, such as discussing and evaluating graduation projects, and teaching inorganic, general, and laboratory chemistry courses.

Careers

Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman has been working as a faculty member since February 2016 for inorganic, general, and laboratory chemistry courses. Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman contributes in organizing academic activities, guiding students in research projects and supervising them. Dr. Ismail Al-Sharif Ben Suleiman has been a member of the department’s scientific committee since 2022 until now, and he works in cooperation with the department’s faculty members to improve scientific programs.

Research Interests

■ Interest in identifying some heavy metals such as (mercury, cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, iron, etc.) in water, air, soil, and food.

■ Study of environmental and water pollution (detection of concentrations of anions and cations).
