Sarah Abdul Aziz Ben Zeglam is a staff member in the Biology Department, Faculty of Education, Tripoli. Ms. Sarah Ben Zeglam works at the University of Tripoli as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biology / College of Education / University of Tripoli from 2010 to 2018 and then with the degree of Lecturer from 2018 to now, where she assumed the tasks of teaching students and supervising graduation research and academic supervision, so that over the past years she taught the following university courses; Zoology 1, Zoology 2, Zoology for premedical student, invertebrate science, Parasitology, comparative anatomy, and it has several research publications in its field of specialization. Careers

Since joining the University of Tripoli as a faculty member in the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Education, Tripoli \ University of Tripoli, she has assumed several administrative and educational tasks, as follows:

• 2007-2010 held the position of a research assistant in the Department of Physiotherapy / College of Technology and taught practical histology.

• Teaching animal science (tissue) in medicine numbers from 2010 to 2015.

• Supervising the animal science subject and teaching it to pre-medical students in the year 2016

• Assistant Lecturer, Department of Biology / College of Education / University of Tripoli from 2010 to 2018.

• Head of the Biology Department, Faculty of Education, Tripoli, from 2016 to 2022.

• Vice Dean of the College in charge of 2022

• Quality Coordinator in the Biology Department from 2021 to now

• During which invertebrates / general zoology/parasitology / comparative anatomy was taught, as well as the department's coordinator of studies and examinations for six years.

Research Interests

Sarah Ben Zeglam has carried out several research activities and participated in several types of research and is currently working as part of participation in a research team affiliated with the College of Science, Department of Zoology / Marine Science, in order to train master's students and assist them in separating, dyeing and identifying fish parasites

External Activities

Participation in two consecutive voluntary courses for training and raising the general level of secondary school teachers 2018-2019 by giving the following lectures: The division of living organisms and their evolution over the years; DNA and RNA genetic material, its composition, formulas, and mode of action; Some general information about heredity.

She is also considered an environmental activist who has participated in several environmental activities with non-governmental associations. She is regarded as a founding member of the Libyan Association of Friends of Craft Fishing. She has also been delegated several times by the Ministry of Environment to participate in regional workshops.
