Roles

Naeima Salem Ali Orafi is a faculty member in the Biology Department at the College of Education, Tripoli. Mrs. Dr. Naeima works at the University of Tripoli as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Biology / College of Education / University of Tripoli from 2010 to 2014 and with the rank of lecturer starting from January 2024 until now, where she assumed the tasks of teaching students and supervising graduation research and academic supervision, so that over the past years she has taught the following university courses ;    Zoology 2, practical zoology for medical preparatory school, animal physiology, and vertebrate science for students of the Biology Department at the College of Education. Also teaching the subject Principles of Physiology to students of a class teacher. Dr. Naima Al-Arfi also taught the course on physiology at the Higher Institute of Nursing, Abu Salim, Department of Physical Therapy.Appointed as coordinator of faculty affairs in the department.

I was assigned as an examiner for some BSc graduated  projects 

Currently, we are in the process of forming a research group in the Department of Biology, specializing in zoology, for cooperation and exchange of experiences

Careers

Before joining the Biology Department, I had previously worked at the Al- Hard Hospital Analysis Center as an intern, followed by work as a research assistant in the Department of Physiology, College of Human Medicine, then I was appointed as a teaching assistant in the department, then I was sent to study for a master’s degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, and I was appointed as an assistant lecturer in the College of Education, University of Tripoli, and then I was sent to study PhD at Istanbul University and then i return to work as a lecturer in the Biology Department at the University of Tripoli 

Research Interests

Her research interests are broad, but mainly focus on various research in the field of diabetes, the use of therapeutic and concomitant medications and their effect on cell performance, and working on projects in a group to study respiratory volumes and  capacities,  and the effect of the work environment on them. He is also interested in classifying fish using a protein analysis technique (electrophoresis method )

External Activities

Cooperating with various health centers to treat diabetes patients, as well as the Center for Treating Kidney Failure, and  preparations are currently being made for cooperation with the Biological Research Center and the Marine Research Center.
