MAAMAR ALQARQOUTI is one of the staff members at the department of 10 faculty of 17. He is working as a since 2015-11-12. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest, Befor that, he was a public school teacher (1981 to 1999). During the school year of 2005-2006, he was appointed as a principal of the Libyan Al-Fateh School in Algeria.

The doctor worked at the College of Arts in Al-Zawiya as an assistant lecturer from 11/12/2008 to 11/30/1999, then a lecturer from 11/12/2008 to 11/12/2011, then an assistant professor from 11/12/2011 to 11/12/2015 AD, then an associate professor at the College of Education Tripoli from 11/12/2015 to 11/12/2019 AD, then a professor from 11/12/2019 until now.
Research Interests
He has many publications and research in his field of specialization, including a research entitled “The Impact of the Islamic Conquest on the Urban Phenomenon in the Fezzan Region” published in the National Memory Journal, Ministry of Culture and Civil Society, Fifth Issue of 2019., and many other researches, including the third Islamic caliphate and its impact on building The Islamic State, and a research entitled The City of Zuweila in the Sahel and Sahara Spaces during the Middle Ages, a study on its historical development and its relationship with neighboring countries, and a research entitled Ibn Khaldun’s Reflections on Narrators and Historians, and a research entitled Water Facilities in the Maghreb in the Marinid Era 668/869 AH-1269/1465 CE, And a research titled “The City of Tarhuna, its news in the time of its continuity and interruption,” and a research titled “The Diwaniyah Letters and their Importance in Studying the History of the Almoravid in the Maghreb of Andalusia,” and a research titled “Trade Relations between the Cities of Aden and Zaila in the Islamic Era,” and a research titled “The City of Sirte: Its Geographical and Economic Importance,” and a research titled “The Role of The strategic western port of Tripoli in the Islamic era, and a research titled “Book of Lessons” by Ibn Khaldun and its importance in studying the economic history of Morocco at the time of the Marinids, and another research entitled “Awjilah in the Age” Islamic. In addition, he has some published books, including the book The Jihad of the Almohads in the Land of Andalusia 541-629 AH / 1146-1233 AD, and the book Economic Life in the State of Bani Marin 668-869 AH. He also has many participations in scientific conferences inside and outside the country.
