Roles

Adel Abdualam Alrajhi is a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Education, Physics Department. He was previously a faculty member at the University of Merqab, Faculty of Education and Science, Physics Department. Since his appointment in 2007 at the University of Merqab, he has taught several specialized courses for students in the Physics Department and supervised several graduation projects, in addition to teaching general physics courses to the college's departments. He was appointed as a Quality Coordinator in 2010 and was appointed as Head of the Physics Department during the period 2011-2012 at the college. From there, he moved to Azzaytuna University, where he taught medical and applied physics courses to pre-med and engineering students.

Careers

Before moving to Al-Marqab University in 2007, Adel worked for years at the Central Agency for Research and Industrialization as part of a research team developing a laser-based communications system. In 2005, he was sent to study for a master's degree from 2003 to 2005. While working as a faculty member at the University of Marqab, he was seconded to prepare for his doctorate degree, obtaining it in 2021. Since the beginning of the fall semester of 2025-2026, he has been working as a faculty member at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Education, Department of Physics.

Research Interests

His research interests include nanophysics and the charge transport properties of cationic impurity-modified quantum wells (quasi-2D structures) and monolayer graphene (true 2D structures). He also studies the effect of annealing and growth temperature on the charge transport properties of both structures, especially graphene.

External Activities

العمل كمتعاون في بعض المعاهد والكليات منها المعهد العالي لطيران (السبيعة) حيث درّس مقررات الفيزياء الكهربية نظريا وعمليا . درّس مادة  البصريات  في معهد الشموخ العالي – طرابلس.
