Othman Maklouf is one of the staff members at the faculty of Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering Department since 2013-09-12. He is teaching several subjects in guidance, navigation, and control. He has several publications in the field of his interest. Before joining the University of Tripoli in September 2014, I held the capacity of a faculty member at the Engineering Academy, Tajoura, where that was at the beginning of the year 1995, after I joined directly from the journey to prepare a high degree (Master’s degree), and I taught the students in the departments of Electronic, Mechanical, And Aeronautical  many materials in the field of basics of Electrical engineering, Navigation, and the field of automatic control and guidance systems, especially with regard to unmanned systems such as unmanned aircraft and anti-aircraft missile systems. During this period, I held several positions and tasks, including the head of the Department of Electronic Engineering and the head of the Department of Computer Engineering. During that period, I supervised a number of graduation projects. This program lasted until September 2003, after which I was dispatched to study a Ph.D. in the field of aeronautical engineering, specializing in control and guidance, in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. In September 2009, I finished my doctoral studies and joined again at the College of Engineering, Tajoura, where I was promoted to the rank of assistant professor and assigned the duties of head of the Department of Electronic Engineering and a member of the scientific committee of the college. I continued to perform my duties until August 2014, when I submitted my resignation from work at the Faculty of Engineering, Tajoura, after a work trip and struggle that lasted 33 years. In September 2014, she joined the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli, as a faculty member in the Aeronautical Engineering Department until this date.
