After graduating from the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, in the year 2003, M. Ali Maatouk worked as an architect at the University Office for Engineering Consultancy on the third generation project plans for the Sirte region. In 2016, she obtained a master's degree from the same department at the University of Tripoli.He worked as a collaborating faculty member in the Department of Urban Design and Planning, University of Tripoli, from the fall semester of 2017 until the spring of 2020.He has been working as a faculty member since 2020 and supervises a number of undergraduate graduation projects in the Department of Architecture.
