Roles

1. Teaching many courses for the bachelor’s and master’s levels, the most important of which are the various design courses, construction, practicing a profession 1, practicing a profession 2, executive drawings, research methodology, and writing junior reports.
2. Membership in some scientific and academic committees in the department
3. Member of the department's scientific committee
4. Coordinator of professional practice/quality courses

I have not yet applied for an academic promotion. I have been forced to publish many research papers, prepare and chair many conferences, seminars and scientific workshops, due to a legal ambiguity in the equation of my research degree, which I transferred from the Industrial Research Center with the corresponding academic degree at the university.

Careers

I moved to work at the university in 2008..I worked in many institutions in the Libyan state since 1981 until I moved to work at the university. I held many positions during my career in Libyan state institutions, the most important of which are Director of the General Administration for Design Affairs at the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, Director of the General Administration for Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, Director General of the Building and Construction Materials Research Center,  Director of the General Company for Building Materials Manufacturing, Member of the Management Committee of the Industrial Research Center, in addition to being a member of several administrative committees in many consulting offices, institutions and technical committees at the professional and national levels.

External Activities

published a group of professional, political, social and cultural articles in some electronic newspapers, the most important of which are, for example: Al-Watan electronic newspaper, Libya Al-Masqabel, and some Libyan newspapers. I regularly publish a collection of analytical articles on the wall of my Facebook page
