Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Architecture during my work in various ministries, and I was keen to perform my academic duties at the department in the Faculty of Engineering.

Other Achievements:

During my work in various sectors, I was the head of many national and international committees.

I produced two important reports on education and scientific research, and vocational training in 1996, titled "Education between Reality and Ambition".

I also prepared the National Report on Education, Scientific Research, and Vocational Training, No. 2, in 1998.

I prepared the National Report on Labor Force in Libya in 1998.

I was in charge of the file of treating the surplus of national cadres from 2004 to 2005.

I chaired many national, regional, and international conferences, including the International Labor Conference in 2006, and the International Conference held by UNESCO in 1998 in Budapest, Hungary.

My name is Eng.Maatug Mohammed Maatug ,born in Gaser bin gesher Libya in 1/1/1956,marital status married.

My academic qualifications a bachelor of architecture ,and urban planning in July 1979,a master degree in urban design from Harriet Watt University and Edinburgh in United Kingdoom, 1984 I also studied doctorate at the Mعiddle East University in Ankara Turkey,,and then I was called to take over the Portfolio of the Ministry of training and Vocational Training in March1988 .And I had passed the comprehensive exam with a score of 3.6/4 and submitted the results of the research to obtain the certificate,as a result of my assignment to establish that ministry; I was unable to take the final exam to obtain the doctorate degree.

Research Interests

Sciences and technologies of building materials and their development, including the detailed impact of natural and climatic factors on them.

In addition, the impact of natural factors on:

Urban planning

Urban design

Particularly in hot/arid and humid region

External Activities

Consultancy services related to talented  and gifted students with the National Authority for talented and Gifted Students.
