Mariam Shibub is one of the staff members at the department of Architecture and urban planning faculty of engineering. Dr. Mariam Shibub is Co-professor of architectural design, building construction, sustainable design, architectural programming, architectural drawing and design methodology. During her career, she has worked in a private architectural consultation office as designer in different architectural projects then, she worked for more than nine years as assistant lecturer, in the architectural department of Tripoli University. After obtaining her PHD she worked with many universities as lecturer and after that as assistant professor in architectural design, programming, building construction, architectural drawing and design methodology. 

Teaching:

She teaches several subjects in her major. Her teaching focused on educational design, recreational design, building construction, architectural programming, design methodology and supervision of different final projects. She also worked as collaborator to architectural design in two universities in Tripoli city and Alzawia city

Research interests:

She has several publications in the field of her interest. These are related to sustainable design, e-learning in architecture, evaluating the education process in architectural design, traditional architecture between conservation and reuse, saving energy through intelligent architecture, following up the revolution in recreational building design and developing the ways of using design methodology and architectural programming in architectural design.
