Dr. Adel Al-Zaytouni is a faculty member in the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, Faculty of Engineering. Mr. Adel Al-Zaytouni has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 10/01/2006. He has many scientific publications in his field of specialization. The doctor teaches many courses for undergraduate students, where these subjects vary in the field of architectural design such as residential buildings, hotels, tourist villages, architectural construction, construction systems, and preparing executive drawings, in addition to teaching architectural drawing and supervising the building materials laboratory, in addition to supervising graduation projects.

The doctor teaches many undergraduate courses in architectural design and architectural construction, in addition to supervising graduation projects.

Research Interests

The professor is currently preparing a research on the old mosques and corners in the Janzour area. The research revolves around a comparative study between these corners and mosques in terms of building materials, implementation methods, and the construction systems used. This is from the construction aspects. As for the architectural aspects, the researcher works on the architectural analysis of the spaces that make up these religious buildings, in addition to historical studies of these buildings.

External Activities

The faculty member works in the field of architectural design, building implementation, and building implementation supervision, in addition to providing engineering consultations. He also has interests in charitable, community and social work in his field of specialization.
