Roles

Salah Hamouda is a faculty member in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Tripoli, where he has served as an associate professor since September 2020. He specializes in geotechnical engineering, focusing on the interactions between soil and structures to ensure construction stability and safety.In addition to his teaching and research, Professor Hamouda has held several key administrative roles. He is the coordinator of the Structural Engineering Division and is a member of the Postgraduate Committee within the Civil Engineering Department. He also supervises the Soil Mechanics Laboratory, where he oversees research and practical training for students.Professor Hamouda has authored numerous scientific publications addressing critical issues in soil mechanics, and foundation engineering, contributing significantly to the academic community.His teaching methods emphasize the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing students for successful careers in civil engineering. Furthermore, he actively participates in training and mentors young engineers and researchers, supporting their professional growth.
