Roles

He aims to enhance and develop the field of structural engineering by utilizing the latest structural analysis techniques. He transfers digital and laboratory analytical expertise to university students through coursework and lab work. His focus is on equipping students with the skills to understand and analyze structural behavior using modern methods.

Careers

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, he worked as a site engineer at a construction company from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, he began working as a teaching assistant at the University of Tripoli, continuing in that role until 2022. During his master’s studies, he worked in a research lab at Suleyman Demirel University and as a researcher at the University of Warwick. Upon returning to the University of Tripoli, his position was upgraded to assistant lecturer. Currently, while pursuing his PhD, he is working in a research lab at Osman Gazi University.

Research Interests

His research focuses on studying the dynamic behavior of concrete structures and their response to moving loads through laboratory experiments and numerical analysis using software like ABAQUS and OPENSEES. He is also interested in the properties of cement composites after the addition of recycled materials and natural fibers to enhance their characteristics.

External Activities

He serves as a reviewer for the Challenge Journal of Concrete and is a researcher at Osman Gazi University. Additionally, he volunteers in committees for evaluating earthquake-damaged buildings in Turkey.
