Roles

Dr. Alsharef has been an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, at the University of Tripoli since 01.03.2023.  The Courses taught are Soil Mechanics I, Soil Mechanics II, and Foundation Engineering. A supervisor researches BSc students.

Careers

Dr. Alsharef has been a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering, at Sebha University ( 01.09.2019 to 28.02.2023).  The Courses taught are (Soil Mechanics I and II, Foundation Engineering I and II, Roads and Airports Engineering, Engineering Geology, Transport, and Traffic Engineering, and Civil Drawing). He supervised the research of BSc students. (Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology).

Dr. Alsharef obtained his Ph.D. in Civil and Structural Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment at the University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Malaysia in 2018. He also holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from The National University of Malaysia (UKM) in Malaysia, which he earned in 2009, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Sebha University in Libya, which he earned in 1995.

Dr. Alsharef is an active reviewer of various academic publications, including Construction and Building Materials Journal ISI (Q1), Measurement Journal ISI (Q1), Trans Tech Publications Ltd (AEF, JERA, and JNanoR(ISI)), Journal of Civil Construction and Environmental Engineering, African Journal of Engineering Research, and international conferences. He is a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and the Fourth International Scientific Committee for Science and Technology (ICST 2021).
