Roles

Two years ago, after Kosai Shawesh was appointed in January 2023 as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering, where he taught some subjects of great importance from a scientific, academic and practical point of view, he  took over teaching the Engineering Economics subject in addition to teaching the Unit Operations Laboratory and supervising the laboratories and graduation projects. He was also assigned to follow up on the laboratories located inside the University of Tripoli warehouses for a long period estimated at more than ten years, where he fixed their location, inventoried them and discussed ways to transfer them with his colleagues from the faculty members in the Department of Chemical Engineering in order to transfer them to the Department of Chemical Engineering and benefit from them to develop the educational process within the department. He was recently assigned to carry out the task of coordinating the study and examinations in the Department of Chemical Engineering since the spring semester of 2024

Careers

Kosai Shawesh is a new professor at the University of Tripoli, working as an assistant lecturer and also holding the position of study and examination coordinator in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Research Interests

Kosai Shawesh is interested in several research fields. Most of his efforts were focused on adsorption and mathematical simulation to understand how it works and the mechanics of its story using programming and computer programs. He specializes in that in relation to protecting the environment and cleaning water from oil spills resulting from accidents and leaks in pipelines and offshore platforms.

External Activities

Engineer Kosai Shawesh trained the engineers of the Chemical Engineering Department on the MATLAB program to develop the educational process.
