Since Mr. Fathi Ramadan bin Zaid assumed the duties of a faculty member, he has carried out many tasks that are his specialty, including giving the scheduled lectures in the Department of Geological Engineering from both theoretical aspects, which are included in the development of academic courses using modern equipment and modern technical methods.Also, the practical aspect is the use of geological laboratories in the Department of Geological Engineering, how to use these devices and what they are used for. Among other tasks that Mr. Fathi Ramadan performs are field visits and studies, which are considered among the important necessities in the Department of Geological Engineering, as they are represented in carrying out geological trips to some areas within The Libyan state includes the Nafusa and Gharyan Mountains and the Khoms and Nalut regions, where the student is introduced to the geological formations and geological phenomena and how they were deposited.

Careers

Fathi has placed great emphasis on teaching, and has developed and led programs and modules across all courses Undergraduate with me and is currently giving customized lectures upon request schedule in Specialized research topics and research, as well as advocating and conducting research-based teaching.

Research Interests

Before joining the University of Tripoli initially Fathi worked for many years in industry, in management and geological and mining research as a senior geologist. He supervised many geological researches in the field of exploration and mining before moving to the field of teaching. After joining the university, he conducted many scientific researches and courses in the field of geology and earth sciences at Asmaria University. Zliten at the College of Science and supervising many graduation projects before moving to the University of Tripoli to continue giving and teaching.

 There is no work that Fathi is currently doing outside the university except some scientific participations in some scientific conferences and scientific seminars
