Roles

ihave taught the Properties of Materials course and have also collaborated with the Civil Engineering department in teaching the Statics of Solids course. Additionally, I have assisted the General Education stage in teaching the Descriptive Course for multiple semesters. I work as a supervising engineer for reinforcement steel tests at the university and also in concrete strength testing. I have gathered information on concrete additives and reinforcement steel, compiled master’s projects, and kept up with any developments in structural stability analysis, including dams and educational facilities, as well as the impact of groundwater on shallow and deep foundations. I have also studied the fundamental concepts of hydrological statistical data analysis and described methods for estimating its parameters. I have experience in using statistical techniques to analyze data, which involves collecting, classifying, and graphically presenting data to summarize, analyze, and utilize it — this is considered a method of data processing and utilization. I supervise students’ projects from a practical perspective, and I have also coordinated conferences, particularly in 2009 at the university. I have taught in multiple institutions, including the Seven Institute for Private Universities. I have attended conferences in Zawiya and the Derna Dam Conference. I worked on the civil system for a full year and have also conducted Materials Properties Lab sessions.

Careers

"I taught the Materials Properties laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering. I also recorded and managed data for students in the Civil Engineering Department. Additionally, I conducted reinforcing steel tests for several bridge projects, including the Coalition Company Bridge, Salah Al-Din Bridge, and the Airport Road and Al-Fernaj Bridge."

Research Interests

My research focuses on the integration between Geological Engineering and Civil Engineering, particularly in the fields of water resources and structural systems, with the aim of achieving sustainability and enhancing infrastructure performance in diverse environments. My areas of interest include:

Hydrogeology, groundwater studies, and flow modeling

Interaction between water, soil, and rock, and its impact on structural stability

Evaluation of soil suitability and foundation performance in the presence of groundwater

Soil and rock mechanics related to hydraulic structures

Analysis and stability of dams and earth structures

Impact of groundwater on shallow and deep foundations

Engineering geology and assessment of water-related hazards (e.g., settlement and slope instability)

Environmental impact assessment of water-related engineering projects
