Samah Alghoul is one of the staff members at the department of Mechanical and Industrial, faculty of Engineering. He is working as a Associate Professor in the department. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several publications in the field of his Energy Efficiency, performance and saving and also in  Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Solar systems.

2011 - present  - Faculty Member (Professor) at Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Tripoli, Tripoli–Libya.

2008 - 2011 PhD Candidate/ Part-time lecturer and lab demonstrator at Mechanical Engineering Department, School of Engineering, The University of

2003 - 2007 - Full-time Lecturer at Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department, University of Tripoli

2000 - 2003 Lecturer assistant at  Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department, University of Tripoli.

Research Interests

Dr Alghoul has published about 36 research papers related mainly to:

- Energy performance, efficiency, and saving in buildings.

- Air conditioning systems

- Refrigeration systems

- Solar systems.

 In addition, Dr Alghoul has published three books in Arabic language:

- Fundamentals of Fluid mechanics.

- Applications in Fluid Mechanics.

- Incompressible Flow Machines.

External Activities

Dr Alghoul is a consultant and  has been volunteers as a peer reviewer for many journals and conferences in the field of Air Conditioning and Energy Efficiency.
