Careers

After his graduation, he worked as a design engineer at DaimlerChrysler for several years, and then he joined the teaching staff at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli, where he continues to work to this day.

Research Interests

Dr. Altoumy is interested in research areas related to linear programming and developing programs aimed at finding solutions to industrial facility problems. He is also concerned with achieving quality in factories, hospitals, and other facilities.

External Activities

Working as external reviewer for some journals in the area of optimization and quality control.
