Roles

Mohsen Issa is a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. Mr. Mohsen Issa has been working at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer since 2013-12-15 and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

He has taught many industrial mechanics courses such as Industrial Management (ME261) and Metallurgy (ME206), Factory Planning (ME491), Selected Topics (ME591), and Workshop Technology (ME129),

 And supervised many graduation projects in the department including

 Improving maintenance operations in the electrical transformer maintenance center using Fault Pattern Analysis and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

 Improving ambulance services in Libyan hospitals using Lean 6 Sigma methodology

 Currently, Dr. Mohsen Faraj Issa works at the University of Tripoli as a lecturer and has many scientific publications in his field of specialization.

Careers

Dr. Mohsen Faraj Issa worked at the Technical Research Center since 15-1-1991 before joining the university. He joined the University of Tripoli on 25/08/2003. He is now a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering - Industrial Mechanics Division, Faculty of Engineering. He has been working as a lecturer since 2013.

Research Interests

Quality engineering , Quality improvement, Lean six sigma methodology, total quality management, material inspection, welding metallurgy, materials selection 

External Activities

Reviewer in some scientific journals and conferences,  Member of the scientific committee in some local and international conferences and a referee in international and national scientific conferences.
