Roles

Dr. Osama is a member of the academic staff at TRIPOLI UNIVERSITY/ FACULTY OF ENGINEERING in mechanical and Industrial engineering department since 2010. He has supervised many undergraduate projects, worked for the quality committee and also was the head of the office of study and examinations.  Osama has Participated and attended many scientific conferences and workshops organized locally and a broad and has a plenty of publications.

Careers

2000-2010: Employed by the Libyan National Centre for Standardization and Metrology as a Standards Manager based in the capital Tripoli from 2000 until 2010:-

* The head of the Standards and specifications Department.

* Member and reporter within the Technical Committee in the field of Mechanical and Metallurgical specifications.

* Member and reporter within the Technical Committee in the field of medical equipment specifications

* Member of the Sub-committee specialized in the field of Oil and Natural gas specifications

* Member of the working team specialized in the field of cooling gases.

* Member of the working team specialized in the field of lubrications

* Member within the Technical Committee for studying African raw material

* Member of the joint Libyan-Egyptian committee for facilitating commercial exchange

* Member of the Committee for Cooperation with the Republic of Belarus

* Member of the Arab Translation Task Group (ATTG)

* Familiar with ISO system.

* Experience in quality control and quality assurance

* Inspection experienced

* Participated and attended many scientific conferences and workshops organized locally and abroad

* Attended the ISO thirty third General Assembly held in Oslo-Norway- Sep 2010

*Attended the ISO thirty third General Assembly held in Oslo- Norway – Sep 201

2010-2023 started working for TRIPOLI UNIVERSITY/ FACULTY OF ENGINEERING as a university lecturer in mechanical and Industrial engineering department.
