Dr. Faraj Eldabee has a PhD in Industrial Engineering from University of Australia, Australia with over 16 years’ experience in the area of industrial engineering. He has been working in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli, as a lecturer since 2022, after moving from University of Elmergib, where he started working as a lecturer since 2008. Currently, Dr. Eldabee is the coordinator of graduate studies in the Industrial Engineering Program in the department.

Careers

Dr Eldabee has over 17 years’ experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics and supply chain management within different organisations in Libya. He aims to develop links and collaboration with industry (manufacturing, service, retail, and community) to foster relevant and innovate research amongst our students that will meet and address current and future challenges.

Research Interests

Advanced knowledge and research experience in the lean manufacturing, supply chain management, cost analysis and management, and risk assessment. Sound experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. Demonstrated research productivity with 20 publications and over 7 contributions in national and international conferences. Demonstrated skills in project management, student supervision and leadership. Proven ability to work in demanding environments with high focus on quality and deadlines.

Finally, Dr. Eldabee drives to achieve goals has always been coupled with passion, enthusiasm, and scientific curiosity.
