Roles

I worked at the University of Tripoli in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Power Division, as an assistant lecturer and also a supervisor of graduation projects for undergraduate students.

The main roles now are as a lecturer for a group of courses in the department and also as a supervisor of graduation projects and as a researcher. A group of scientific researches have been published and I have participated in international conferences. I work on research with colleagues in many research projects and we focus in most of the research on developing the energy sector and achieving sustainability by focusing the research on energy efficiency in different sectors.

Careers

Before joining the University of Tripoli, I worked as a cooperating assistant lecturer at the University of Gharyan in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and also worked as a supervisor for many graduation projects.

I also worked as a cooperating assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.

Also before joining the University of Tripoli, I worked as a solar energy projects manager for a company specialized in this field and supervised the design and implementation of many solar energy projects in Libya.

I also worked as a consultant in the field of solar energy at a research center affiliated with the company

Research Interests

I have published in many local and international scientific journals and also participated in many international and local scientific conferences.

Research interests are broad but the main focus is on energy efficiency in buildings and the search for achieving energy sustainability in buildings by applying different procedures to achieve this goal and also focusing on finding the best solutions to local and international energy problems and guiding through research papers to rely on renewable energy sources as a primary source of energy.

External Activities

I reviewed a group of research papers for the Solar Energy and Sustainable Development Journal

I discussed many graduation projects for undergraduate students outside the university and I also worked as a supervisor for graduation projects for undergraduate students at Gharyan University
