Sliman Rekhibi is one of the staff members at the department of 8 faculty of 2. He is working as a since 2015-04-05. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest.

•             2015 – 2017    Head of the Mining Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             2010 – 2013        Head of the Mining Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             2005 –2011        GIS unit coordinator, The Third Generation Planning project, University Engineering Consultation Office.

•             2000 – 2005   Head of the Mining Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             2015–present       Associated professor at the Mining Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             1999–2015              Assistant professor at the Mining department Faculty of Engineering University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             1995 – 1999       Full time lecturer teaching many subjects such as; Mine machinery, General surveying, Mine surveying, tunneling support etc, University of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

•             1993 – 1995 Part time lecturer at the Mining Department, Faculty of Engineering doing my national service as a substitute for military duties, university of Tripoli, Tripoli – Libya.

External Activities

Dr. Sliman Rekhibi was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions. He also headed several audit teams for educational institutions from 2014 until the present time.

He also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Office for Engineering Consultancy
