Roles

As a lecturer in the Department of Networks, my primary responsibilities include designing and delivering educational content, such as lectures and instructional materials, effectively and engagingly. I contribute to course development to ensure alignment with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of networking. I am also responsible for fostering a productive and interactive learning environment, providing academic advising to students, and offering technical consultation to colleagues.In addition to assessing student performance through examinations and coursework evaluation, I actively participate in departmental academic and administrative meetings and maintain constructive professional relationships with both students and faculty members. I am also engaged in research and development efforts in the area of networking, often collaborating with peers to advance academic initiatives.Appointed Head of the Study and Examinations Unit for the Networks Department since 2023.

Careers

My teaching career began by delivering professional training in Microsoft technologies, following my certification as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) in 2004. These courses enabled me to support individuals and organizations in utilizing Microsoft tools efficiently.Later, I joined the University of Tripoli as a faculty member, where I contributed to undergraduate education by teaching, mentoring students, and participating in curriculum development and academic assessment.Subsequently, I became a certified instructor with the Huawei Academy, specializing in cybersecurity. In this capacity, I conducted training sessions that emphasized the importance of information security and equipped participants with practical skills to protect sensitive data.Overall, my professional mission is centered on enhancing the skills of individuals and institutions through academic instruction and specialized training in Microsoft technologies and cybersecurity.

Research Interests

My research interests include Software-Defined Networking (SDN), cybersecurity, cloud computing, data center infrastructure, virtualization, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, with a particular focus on their security implications and real-world applications.

External Activities

I regularly participate in scientific conferences, which provide valuable opportunities to engage with cutting-edge research, interact with leading experts, and expand my academic network. These experiences have significantly contributed to my professional growth by fostering knowledge exchange, enhancing my understanding of current trends, and motivating me to pursue further academic and professional development.Attendance at such events has also strengthened my communication and collaboration skills and offered insight into innovative approaches and methodologies in the ICT domain.
