Roles

Muhammad Omar Ali Ashourmaa.ashour@uot.edu.ly  An English teacher and a faculty  staff member in the Department of English at the Faculty of Languages (holding a master’s degree and delegated to a PhD) from the University of Tripoli . He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors (first order) in addition to a teacher’s diploma in 1983. Extensive experience teaching English in all educational stages, preparatory, secondary, and university, I encourage my students to work together, and focus in the classroom on communication between students and motivate them to compete, which makes them interested in the daily use of the language, especially as it is a foreign language that needs a lot of training and exercise to straighten the tongue. Through experience in the field of teaching, the proposal for a doctoral dissertation was (teamwork and its role in encouraging students to use the English language). I have completed many educational courses in teaching methods and technology and a course in teaching the Holy Qur’an and now I am preparing a doctoral dissertation in teaching English I have finished A course in the English language in Britain in 2015. As well as a course in Arabic calligraphy.

Careers

2022 I taught contrastive analysis. 2021 I taught comprehension and taught elementary students, in addition to my work as head of the Study and Examinations Department in the English Language Department at the University of Tripoli.

In 2020 he  taught  grammar 3 and in 2019 he  also taught  grammar 3 but, in 2018 he  taught  Grammar 4 2017 he  taught Composition 4. In  2016 he taught  Composition 3 and I also taught  a semester at the College of Aviation .  In 2015 I finished an English language course in Britain (Nottingham). In  2014 I was a faculty member staff  as an assistant lecturer at the UOT ,Faculty of Languages for Composition 2 .  In addition to heading the exams department.In  2013 Ihe taught Composition 2 and Comprehension. I established a private school to teach English, computer and human resources with a group of colleagues. We have taught groups from the General Oil Corporation and the Ministry of Labor. 2012 Composition 3 and Comprehension. ((Comprehension 2.2011- A faculty member as a lecturer at the University of Tripoli, Faculty of Education, Qasr Bin Ghashir. I taught an English language course at the Khalifa Omar Askar Hospital) (NEW HEADWAY). 2010- I taught a special course at the Police College (POLICE ENFORCEMENT) and an English language course at the Technical School In the General Administration for Training and the Higher Institute for the Judiciary (NEW ENGLISH FILE.2009- I taught  at the Engineering Academy in Tajoura and the Naval Academy in Janzour.2008- I taught a course For infrastructure engineers at the Higher Institute of Electronics in Ben Ashour (TECH TALK COURSE) in addition to teaching at the Police Social Club in Salah Al-Din as a cooperating faculty member. 2007- English language courses in the Technical School of Public Administration and I prepared a curriculum for the police with some colleagues. 2006- A collaborating faculty member In the General Administration for Training. 2005- Professor of English for secondary education. 1990- Professor of English of preparatory education. 1983- Primary teacher.

Research Interests

He is interested in research in applied linguistics and has a research titled Common errors made by  the Third Semester Students in Composition in the English Language Department
