After more than 12 years at the University of Tripoli, mainly in teaching and administrative roles, Mr. Sanhuri Mohamed Zaidi now works full-time as an Assistant Lecturer in Introduction to Legal Sciences at the Department of Private Law and Faculty of Law, Janzour Branch.

Mr. Sanhuri’s primary roles now are as a researcher and assistant lecturer preparing and delivering lectures in various subjects in the Department of Private Law, with a focus on subjects that fit the specialization of the assistant lecturer. He also corrects exams, reviews students’ appeals, and supervises graduation projects.

Sanhuri’s teaching has focused largely on civil law classes, and throughout his career he has taught subjects such as Obligation Provisions, Sources of Obligation, History of Legal Systems, Theory of Right, and Introduction to Legal Sciences. He has developed and led undergraduate programs and units in this field.

Before his educational career, Sanhuri worked as a lawyer before the primary courts for 4 years before starting his educational career in 2005.

Research Interests

 Sanhuri is primarily interested in business and civil law and currently has several projects underway or in the planning stage that pursue this broad area of ​​research.

External Activities

Sanhuri is now working to obtain acceptance for his doctoral thesis at one of the internationally recognized Italian universities, in the implementation of a decision issued by the Libyan Ministry of Higher Education to study abroad.
