Louay Abu Saad is a faculty member in the Department of Sharia at the Faculty of Law, Tripoli. He has been a lecturer at the University of Tripoli since September 16, 2016.He obtained a Master's degree from the Faculty of Law, specializing in Islamic Sharia, on September 5, 2006.He worked as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Marqab, in November 2007.He was transferred to the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, effective November 2, 2009.He was promoted to the rank of lecturer on September 19, 2016.He was sent abroad to study in 2019 and defended his doctoral thesis on August 8, 2024, at the Department of Sharia and Law, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, Malaysia. Mr. Louay Abu Saad has taught a number of subjects, including Introduction to the Study of Islamic Jurisprudence, Introduction to the Study of Personal Status Law, Inheritance and Wills, and Hudud Legislation.  Mr. Louay Abu Saad has numerous scholarly publications in his field of specialization, including:A Review of the Book "Marriage and Divorce and Their Consequences: Scientific Value and Characteristics," Journal of the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, Special Issue, 2016.The Rules of Islamic Jurisprudence and Their Relationship to Some Similar Legal Concepts, Journal of Sharia Research and Studies, Cairo, Issue 2021, pp. 121-53.Administrative Procedures Related to the COVID-19 Pandemic from the Perspective of Jurisprudential Rules: A Comparative Study of Libyan Health Law, Journal of Renewal, International Islamic University Malaysia, Volume 26, Issue 52, 2022, pp. 187-316.The Legal Value of Jurisprudential Rules in Personal Status Matters: An Analytical and Applied Study in Light of Law No. 10/1984 and its Amendments (Accepted for Publication in the Journal of the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, 2024)

Mr. Dr. Louay Abu Saad is concerned with discussing issues and issues of personal status compared to Islamic law and law.
