Professor Khadija Elboaishi has been a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, Department of Public Law, since 2015. Throughout her academic career, she has taught various courses related to international law in both the semester and yearly systems. These courses include Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, International Relations, International Law of the Sea, and Introduction to Legal Sciences.
Careers
Professor Khadija Elboaishi obtained her Bachelor's degree in Law with First-Class Honors from the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, in 2010. She then pursued postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, Department of International Law, where she completed the preparatory year in the academic year 2010. She was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law in 2011 with an Excellent grade.
Subsequently, she earned her Master’s degree in International Law and Human Rights from the Department of International Law at Keele University in the United Kingdom in 2015.
Professor Khadija has been serving as a faculty member at the prestigious Faculty of Law, University of Tripoli, since 2015.
Research Interests
Professor Khadija Elboaishi has diverse research interests in the fields of international law and human rights, with a particular focus on issues of good governance and sustainable development. Her research includes studying the relationship between international law and the protection of human rights, especially regarding women's rights and the integration of gender perspectives into legal policies. She is also interested in topics related to transitional justice, security sector reform, and the role of international law in promoting peace and conflict resolution. Additionally, her research explores artificial intelligence and international responsibility under international law.

1. Trainer in the first and second training sessions on Libyan youth participation and its role in conflict analysis and peacebuilding, organized by the 180 Organization for Awareness and Development in Tripoli, with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), from January 26-31, 2019.
2. Member of the Libyan delegation at the Seventh Conference of the Arab Women Organization (Arab League) on Women's Economic Empowerment, Peace, Justice, and Citizenship, held in Muscat, Oman, from December 18-19, 2018.
