Careers

Since her appointment at the university, she has worked as a faculty member in the Public Law Department and has undertaken numerous responsibilities:

  • Served as the Head of the Study and Examinations Department for two terms from 2016 to 2018.
  • Reassigned to the Study and Examinations Department in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Appointed as the Coordinator of the Public Law Department at the Faculty of Law, Janzour, since 2019.
  • Assigned as the Media Coordinator for the faculty in 2021.
  • Appointed as the Quality Coordinator for the Public Law Department during 2024.

Research Interests

  • Public international law is a fertile field for study and research. I primarily focus on developments in international law and issues related to the Libyan state.
  • I am interested in International Humanitarian Law, where I teach the subject interactively and productively.
  • In 2016, I published a paper titled “Protection of Medical Teams During Armed Conflicts.”
  • In 2020, I published a paper titled “COVID-19 and the Status of the Individual and the State in Light of International Law.”
  • In 2021, I participated in a conference on the environmental impacts of pollution with a paper titled “Environmental Protection During Internal Armed Conflicts.”
  • In 2021, I contributed to drafting a policy to regulate the use of single-use plastic bags in collaboration with the Oxygen Organization and the Ministry of Environment.
  • In 2024, I published a paper titled “The Impact of Constitutional Internationalization on the Executive Authority.”

External Activities

Outside the university, I am active in civil work, especially in the field of environmental protection. I provide legal expertise in this area and contribute to raising environmental awareness through various environmental initiatives, particularly those related to international days, such as World Environment Day, for example.
