Publication of the book (Criminal Reforms with Quranic Guidelines)

A book (“Criminal Reforms with Qur’anic Guidelines”) was recently published by Dr. Al-Hadi Ali Bouhamra, a faculty member in the Criminal Law Department.

The book, in its first edition, contains approximately 200 pages divided into seven chapters, through which the author presents important aspects based on the possibility of returning to the Qur’anic approach in an attempt to search for a criminal legal system that is an alternative to what is in effect.

Through a comprehensive overview of the book, the author summarizes his book at a serious turning point, which requires two types of qualitative rupture. Just as the matter sometimes requires a rupture with a quantity of jurisprudential heritage that was produced by a different reality, or at least the necessity of reading it in a different way, it also requires  To break with a number of other principles and standards described as international, produced by a philosophical accumulation that is essentially Western, or at least to reformulate them in a way that responds to the changes and the necessity of the interaction of the criminal legal system.
