Description

The master's program in private law is a specialized postgraduate program in private law following the bachelor's degree in law. If the student passes all the requirements, he will be granted a master's degree in private law.

Objectives

  • Consolidate the base of scientific research and prepare specialists at a high level in law.
  • Developing students' ability to research and study, and train them on scientific research methods.
  • Developing new principles in law, studying legal problems of local and international dimensions, and providing effective solutions to them.
  • Conducting, encouraging and directing legal research and studies.
  • Carrying out the necessary legal expertise and consultations to develop legal thought and harness it to serve community issues.

Outcomes

  • To familiarize the student with the most important problems in the framework of private law
  • The student proposes solutions to these theoretical or practical problems.
  • The student, through the lecture + books + research, should know the details of the subject.

Entry Reuirements

  • The applicant for the study must have a bachelor’s degree in law or in Sharia and law.
  • The student must pass the entrance exams successfully.

Study Plan

The Master in private law prepares students to qualify for Master in private law. The student studies several subjects which have been carefully chosen in this major to cover its different aspects.

It comprises 2 Semesters of study, in which the student will study a total of 24 units, which include 0 units of general subjects, and 16 major units, 8 of elective units. In addition to a final project in the student's major.
