Marwa Ben Oun teaches in the English Language Department at the Tripoli Faculty of Arts. Mrs. Marwa BenOun has been working as an assistant lecturer at the University of Tripoli since April 13, 2016. In 2008, she was hired as a teaching assistant at the University of Tripoli's Language Center. Later, she transferred to the English Department at the Faculty of Arts. The professor took part in developing a system for the department's students' data and observed it go live in 2019 after being appointed as the department's coordinator of coursework and assessments in 2017.

Careers

The professor works in the English Language Department as a lecturer for several different linguistic subjects, including phonetics, morphology, grammatical structures, teaching English grammar, and some other specialized subjects. She also taught English as a general subject in different departments within the college.

Research Interests

Marwa Ben Oun is interested in focusing her specialty on applied linguistics. by connecting and developing it to teach and educate students with special needs to identify instructional strategies and answers to the challenges and hurdles that this group encounters.

External Activities

Marwa Ben Oun started interacting with a number of special needs education facilities outside of Libya around three years ago in order to consult with them and find teaching strategies and solutions that would work for this population. Also, she takes part in several direct discussions with academics from various organizations and outside communities. She also took part in a number of training sessions provided by the US Embassy.
